Cycling Boutique Expert Guide On Sizing:
- For Tire Width Range of 20-28mm: Use P35 Model
- For Tire Width Range of 28-40mm: Use P45 Model
So if your bike has a gap to accommodate a 45mm (At fork and seat stay area, where the mudguard sits, you can go for the wider, second model. Else stick with the 1st one and use a tire size of 28mm for the best coverage or 32mm to the max (it might through some mud around, depending on the tire tread pattern.
Ideally, there should be a gap of 3-4 mm between the tire and mudguard else it will be a safety risk of things getting jammed (like wood pieces) while riding.
